NOAR is a non-profit organization that aims to increase cultural understanding between Armenia and the Nordic countries. Established in 2017 by Louise Gorm and Zhirair Terzyan. Our organization serves as a platform for creative cross-cultural collaboration.

We aim to contribute to the development of inter-communal dialogue with concerts, exhibitions, film and literature events and art workshops organized in both countries.

The Best Home

In July 2019 NOAR and ANIKI did a workshop in the Tumanyan Museum in Yerevan, Armenia. The project is a part of the 150th anniversary of Hovhannes Tumanyan.

Under the guidance of professional artists (Rebecca Akoun (FR) and Louise Gorm (DK)) six young , talented Armenians created a movie from A-Z based on a poem by the Armenian poet Hovhannes Tumanyan. The participants experienced the proces from selecting a poem, creating a storyboard, drawing/painting, animation and sound effects/music.

The movie was premiered in the cinema of Tumanyan Museum on July 14th 2019.
